When was Clark Rubber created?
In 1946 businessmen Charlesworth and Clark founded the Clark Matting and Rubber company. It quickly gained success, getting listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1951.
The company was renamed to Clark Rubber Stores in 1961.
In 1982 the Adsteam Group purchased Clark Rubber, and operated the business until 1994 when it was sold to Vita Pacific.

In 2003 Clark Rubber received the Franchise Council of Australia’s Franchisor of the Year recognition in the Entry Capital Over $200,000 category.
